Natalia Olejnik, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the Imapct’17 event, one of the most important events of this profile in Central and Eastern Europe. For two days Krakow was the European Capital of innovation.
Natalia Olejnik presented two technologies that were developed in Lewiński group, one of which was strictly connected to her NaMeS project.
During the two days of the fair, representatives of hundreds of companies and organizations met in Kraków, among them MasterCard, RoboSavvy, TMobile, Ministry of Digitization, University of Chicago, Samsung, IBM, SAP, 500 Startups, AstraZeneca, Microsoft, Siemens AG, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Uber, TechCrunch, PayU, Harvard Medical School, Ministry of Development. What's more, there were also experts, visionaries and creators of the most advanced technologies, CEOs of global corporations in the field of new-tech, startups, researchers, and government administration – together, more than 300 speakers from more than 30 countries presented on the main stage.
Impact'17 participants were also able to look at the technologies created by Polish young scientists presented at SciTech zone during the world's largest industrial fair, Hannover Messe 2017.
During the Imapct’17 event, Natalia Olejnik and other students from Lewinski group presented their projects to interested visitors, telling them about their possibilities and future applications. They also had a bilateral meetings with representatives from various companies to discuss possible cooperation on the science-industry line. Established contacts can potentially lead to interesting cooperation on the project in the future.
