Study visit to the University of Trento

Richard Loffler, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the study visit at the University of Trento where he will be conducting his secondment next year. The main goal was to study the effects of Oil red O dye on the interfacial tension between oil and water as well as the change of waters surface tension when it is exposed to camphor vapour. For these tests Richard used the pendant droplet tensiometer at the facilities. Furthermore he had the chance to make a more detailed plan for his upcoming secondment .
