9) Molecularly imprinted polymers for selective electrocatalysis and photocatalysis

Supervisor: Włodzimierz Kutner

Alcina Johnson Sudagar comes from Mumbai; a diverse city on the west coast of India. After graduating the Bachelor degree with distinction in Nanotechnology from SRM University in India, she secured an opportunity to pursue specialization in the field of clay science under the distinguished Erasmus Mundus Master scholarship programme IMACS. Through a series of internships and projects involving research with clay materials, solar absorber chalcogenide coatings, micro-emulsions, paints and geopolymers, she has gained expertise and knowledge in nanoscience along with skills in catalysis which have eventuated in articles published in peer-reviewed journals. In April 2017, she has joined the group of Molecular Films Research led by Prof. Włodzimierz Kutner where she is currently working on developing molecularly imprinted polymers for electrosynthesis.
