Supervisor: Beata Lesiak-Orłowska

Rangam Neha was born in India, where she qualified the All India Engineering Entrance Exam and joined Bhagwant University, Ajmer for 4 years Bachelor of Technology in Nanotechnology. She graduated with four consecutive awards for top score. She worked on Multiferroics at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, Photonic crystals at National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), Orissa during her Bachelors. She pursued post-graduation from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore and was awarded as highest grades for 2 years in Master of Technology in Nanotechnology (Nanoelectronics). She worked on luminescent and phosphor materials at VIT, Nano drug delivery at BioLim Centre for Science & Technology, Chennai and magnetic nanoparticles for drug delivery at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay during her Masters. She has experience in various nanomaterial synthesis techniques like Sol-Gel, Pechini method, Auto Combustion, Co-Precipitation method, Hydrothermal, Electrochemical methods.

She is currently working on “Electron spectroscopy of novel nanocarbon systems for applications in medicine” under Dr. Hab Beata Lesiak-Orłowska in the group of “Pressure induced syntheses and physico-chemical processes” headed by Professor dr. Hab Marek Tkacz.
