102nd Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition

Dusan Mrdenovic participated in the 102nd Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition in Quebec City, Canada, organized by the Western University from London (Ontario, Canada). The conference theme was “Celebrating IUPAC’s 100th Anniversary: Canada's Place in Global Chemical Rese-arch, Innovation and Education.” This conference exhibited world class technical program that will cover all areas of chemistry and their interfaces with different disciplines. It was an interdisciplinary meeting with the participation of representatives of both exact and natural sciences, experimentally and theoretically.

Dusan Mrdenovic's abstract was selected for an oral presentation entitled “Oligomer size dependent interaction of amyloid β with a model cell membrane – mechanisms relevant to understand origins of Alzheimer disease”, where he presented his PhD project and obtained results using atomic force microscopy.
