1st report meeting of the NaMeS project

On the 3rd October, 2017 the 1st reporting meeting of the NaMeS project was held at the assembly hall of IPC. PhD students of “Interdisciplinary NAnoscience School: from phenoMEnology to applicationS” presented the ideas,  initial results of their projects in a form of short, five-minutes presentations.

The report meeting was chaired by Prof. Robert Kołos – Head of the PhD Studies. The meeting was also attended by particular supervisors and the Project Coordinator, who had the opportunity to learn about the implementation progress of individual research projects under the NaMeS project.

The official part of the meeting was accompanied by culinary integration meeting "Flavors of the World". The NaMeS PhD students had the opportunity to present their national dishes telling about their countries. The PSO members also prepared polish traditional dishes. The meeting was the chance to improve the integration between PhD students, supervisors and PSO members as well and to familiarize with other cultures.
