3rd International Symposium on Energy and Environmental Photocatalytic Materials

2018-06-19

Ayesha Khan, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the 3rd International Symposium on Energy and Environmental Photocatalytic Materialsorganized by Jagiellonian University, Poland. During the event she presented a poster entitled “Selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde via photocatalysis” (Ayesha Khan, Juan Carlos Colmenares, Roger Gläser). Presented results met with great interest of other participants and became the basis for interesting discussions.

Attending EEPM3 was a great opportunity to share Ayesha research ideas and get new ideas, meeting with other groups working in the same area. Moreover, the scientific talks and lectures delivered on different fields of photocatalysis were extremely valuable to broaden her knowledge and getting new perspective on science.
