Fossil and Renewable energy conference 2021

2021-06-04

Ayesha Khan, NaMeS Ph.D. student, participated in the 5th International Conference on Fossil and Renewable energy. The aim of the conference is to bring together all those interested in Fossil and Renewable Energy Sources to share and discuss advances and developments in these fields. Ayesha presented an oral talk: “Surface-Complex Mediated Photocatalytic Selective Oxidation of 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural to 2,5-Diformylfuran Under Visible Light” (Ayesha Khan, Michael Goepel, Juan Carlos Colmenares, Roger Gläser). Attending F&R energy conference was a great opportunity to share her research ideas and get new ideas, meeting with other groups working in the same area. Moreover, the scientific talks and lectures delivered on different fields of renewable energy harvesting were extremely valuable to broaden her knowledge and to get a new perspective on science.
