Hands-on Research in Complex System school

2018-09-14

Ashmita Bose, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the ‘Hands-on Research in Complex System school’ arranged by International center for Theoretical Physics(ICTP), Italy. School participants got exposure to many different form of work on Nonlinear Complex System. They performed different small experiments everyday to study and understand different Non-linear characteristics. Ashmita got to attend some of the topics directly related to her project, such as ‘Chemical Patterns’, ’Machine Learning’. Participants were introduced to many computer languages also such as ‘Python’, ’Matlab’. Apart from all these, they were trained in scientific writing, poster presentation, 2 minutes snapshots and paper writings. After this whole training procedure, Ashimta Bose presented her own poster titled as “Evolutionary Algorithm As a Tool For Designing Chemical Computers” accompanied by a two minute snapshot  at the ICTP premises.
