2019-03-08

Faria Khan participated in the one week long toxicogenomics course under Erasmus Plus Staff Mobility program. The objective of the mobility was to acquire new practical skills on genomic data analysis as well as the background theory involved in the study. There were two modules of the course: the background knowledge and hands-on practical training.

The course offered is a part of the Dutch national programme for vocational postgraduate training in toxicology. It is approved by EUROTOX Subcommittees for Education and for Registration. The skills acquired can help establish baselines for cell culture based toxicological screening of compounds and carry out high through put assays according to approved protocols.
