Polish Photoscience Seminar - PPS 2018

Wassie Mersha Takele, NaMeS PhD student (supervisor prof. Waluk), attended Polish Photoscience Seminar (PPS) 2018 which was held in Krutyń, Poland. The seminar covered many topics of photochemistry and spectroscopy. PPS gathered high-profile experts to deliver oral and poster talks. Wassie Mersha presented a poster titled ‘‘Controlling the optical properties of methyl salicylate by strong light-matter coupling’’. During his presentation, Wassie discussed his results with many researchers working in the field of light-matter coupling. Thanks to this interaction, he received many constructive comments that will help in future research.

Generally, in this seminar, Wassie Mersha got a lot of scientific information and networking opportunity with scientists working on different topics of photochemistry and spectroscopy.
