Schrödinger Online Course

2021-06-07

Nabila Yasmeen, NaMeS PhD student, has attended the „Introduction to Molecular Modelling Concepts for Polymers: A Schrödinger Online Course“ organized by the Schrödinger educational platform. This course helped her in learning the basic computational molecular modeling tools of the core industry, which are used today to assist in the discovery and design of polymers. This one-month online course helped Nabila to understand the use of Ms Maestro software tools and their incorporation into her ongoing and future research project. She also learned how to use advanced techniques such as molecular dynamics on the GPU in this online training to work properly with Schrodinger’s Materials Science Suite, e.g., interaction, modification, and analysis of linear, branched, and cross-linked polymer structures in Schrödinger’s 3D visualization software.
