STM/AFM 2018

2018-12-14

Dusan Mrdenovic participated in the 10th Workshop on Applications of Scanning Probe Microscopy – STM/AFM 2018, organized by the Centre for Nanometer-scale Science and Advanced Materials, NANOSAM, of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Sciences, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. This scientific workshop was devoted to discussing the latest research, technological and constructional achievements related to the use of various types of microscopy and near-interaction spectroscopy, such as STM / STS spectroscopy and microscopy, AFM / SFM atomic force spectroscopy and microscopy and other derivative techniques used in both ultra-high vacuum and gas atmosphere or in liquids. It was an interdisciplinary meeting with the participation of representatives of both exact and natural sciences, experimentally and theoretically. Dusan Mrdenovic presented an oral presentation entitled “The mechanism of amyloid β and total brain lipid extract interaction”, where he showed his PhD project and obtained results using atomic force microscopy.
