Faria Khan participated in the one FEBS Advanced Course "Functional Imaging of Nuclear Organisation & Signaling” which took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The microscope setups on which the training was provided, are part of the van Leeuwenhoek Centre for Advanced Microscopy (LCAM) in Amsterdam
“Programming in Python” course
Yu-Ting Kao, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the VU (Vrije Universiteit) summer school titled “Programming in Python”. This course was aim to teach basic principles of programming through hands-on exercises using real-world examples.
The 5th International Soft Matter Conference
On the 3th-7th of June 2019 Carolina Cruz,Jeel Linesh Raval and Horacio Serna attended the 5th International Soft Matter Conference, held under the auspices of the SoftComp Network of Excellence. They participated in sessions dedicated to their research speciality.
47th IUPAC World Chemistry Congress
Kumar Sarang attended the IUPAC 47th World Chemistry Congress which was held at the Palais des Congress, Paris, France. It was also marked by the 100 years celebration of IUPAC and 150 years of Mendeleev’s periodic table of elements as International Year of Periodic Table (IYPT) 2019.

International Spring School of Electrochemistry
Viknasvarri Ayerdurai and Alcina Johnson SUDAGAR, NaMeS PhD students, participated in the summer school, Smart materials for and from electrochemistry at Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, Italy. This school was organized by the Italian Chemical Society. The summer school focused on smart materials that can be produced through electrochemistry.

On the 7th-18th of January 2019 Carolina Cruz and Horacio Serna attended the school MolSim-2019: Undertanding Molecular Simulation organized by the Amsterdam Center for Multiscale Modelling.
Workshop on broad band dielectric and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
Nabila Yasmeen, NaMeS PhD student has participated in the three-days workshop on Broad band dielectric and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, organized by Novocontrol technologies, Montabaur Germany. The basic objective of the training was to provide an introduction to the broadband dielectric spectroscopy and its importance as an electroanalytical experimental tool.
