Wassie Mersha Takele, NaMeS PhD student, participated in theNanophotonics and micro/Nano Optics 2nd International Conference NANOP 2017.

Rashmi Runjhun, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the 2017 Fall meeting organized by European Materials Research Society (EMRS) at Warsaw University of Technology.

Faria Khan, NaMeS PhD student, participated in first ever MARIE SKŁODOWSKA-CURIE ACTIONS, Falling Wall’s Lab which took place in house of European History in Brussels from 24-25 September 2017. Faria presented the topic “Breaking the wall of Bioentrepreneurism” let’s breach the wall between science and business.

Faria Khan, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the 2nd Polish Chapter Meeting/Workshop of the Bridging Science and Business Workshop organized by Marie Curie Alumni Association.

Horacio Serna, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the III Molecular Simulation School organized by the Spanish Molecular Simulation Network.

Richard Loeffler, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the European Conference for Artificial Life 2017. The main focus of his participation was to consult on his doctoral project with his co-supervisor, Professor Martin Hanczyc from Trento University, who was chairing a workshop in Living Architecture at the conference.

Airit Agasty, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the 5th National Conference of Nano- and Micromechanics organized by Prof. Gotszalk at Wroclaw University of Technology.

Natalia Olejnik, NaMeS PhD student, participated in the Imapct’17 event,  one of the most important events of this profile in Central and Eastern Europe. For two days Krakow was the European Capital of innovation.

Natalia Olejnik, NaMeS PhD student, paricipated in one of Europe's largest technology fairs - Hannover MESSE 2017.

On the 2^nd June, 2017 the Inauguration of the first academic year of the NaMeS project was celebrated in the Seminar Hall of the IPC PAS.
